Who We Are

Dan’s Foods was founded in the year 2010. Shilpa K, the proprietor of the firm comes from a banking background and has made a good example of being women entrepreneurs in the city. Taking a break from employment and the zeal to set up something that serves the community resulted in making homemade chocolates for friends and family. Seeking the potential of being self employed and the inherent hard work by her, moulded this small home based business into a full fledged manufacturing facility.

After her training in confectionery and bakery products with University of Agricultural Sciences Bangalore & Chocolate making from Chocolate Academy Mumbai, she set up the first store in JP Nagar 6th Phase Bangalore in Oct 2010. The shop was a one stop shop for Chocolatiers where they could get the raw materials & packaging under one roof.

Dan’s Foods also showcased its own brand of chocolates, dealing with chocolate manufacturing, customized box manufacturing and distribution of raw cacao materials.The firm was also a part of Goldman Sachs 10000 Women Bangalore.

Now Dans Foods is also the only company to manufacture Gourmet Hand Crafted Candies.
